Chartering Manager
The Responsibilities:
Handysize / Supramax or Panamax operator business.
Sourcing right dry bulk business opportunity to operate. Strong focus on spot bookings.
Hire ship and ensure suitable cargo with reasonable freight
Work closely with traders and attend to their queries. Looking for cooperation with trader directly Negotiate charter party terms and conditions to suit company’s standards
Ensure suitable tonnage availability at reasonable cost for trading terms
Job Requirements:
Comprehensive recent fixture list with strong focus on spot bookings
Min 2 years chartering experience in a dry bulk operator’s office Extensive shipping contacts network and good relationship with clients and related community Excellent communicational skills are required to liaise with ship owners, cargo owners, ship brokers Capability to work under pressure
Self motivated and a team player
